Truck can be plugged in and start up, after 30 sec to 1 min it will just die like you turned key off. Temp outside is -20 degree celius. I ran fine at -9 degrees. I have heard of a cold temp sensor? Truck does sit outside in the wind. Is there a way to warm this sensor up to get truck to run

I assume you know to turn on the cruise control and bump up the idle speed?

Sounds like fuel may be gelling or icing up the filters possibly

You better get that engine going at -20 that will gell and you will have some real problems then. Like other person said. Did you raise the idle up and by pass the shut down timer. On Freightliner with Detroit you turn on cruise control. Raise the engine RPMs. Then wait usually 3 minutes and the engine shutdown lights will start flashing for 30 seconds. You just step on the pedal and the lights go out and the truck will idle all night
