Gawd that's a tell, isn't it? I see that frequently. Methinks it's folks that want to be a little bit "outlaw" or they are just plain lazy.

Just be careful to find out if that company is undercutting everyone else by 50% rendering your 25% more like
12.5% compared to what other guys are making doing the same job working for another outfit. Percentage means nothing unless the rates to the truck and average workload are known.

    Brettj3876 and Lepton1 Thank this.

Yes. I'm based out of OKC.

I tell ya, revenue fell off a cliff about a month ago. Oil companies always set new budgets around this time, so it normally slows down in the first quarter, but this feels much worse. Oil prices are low. Starting to hear about rigs getting stacked. Rig count is down.

Up here its a bit slow due to the cold but there's no talk of stacking out rigs from what i hear. Until Friday the frac is down due to cold weather. I Don't mind the break tho, this is a wicked cold snap

Rig count did drop but is going back up. Could be they are rotating rigs in and out of being stacked to do maintenance or repairs.

Watch oil inventories such as. Weekly Cushing, OK Ending Stocks excluding SPR of Crude Oil (Thousand Barrels)

Watch what OPEC is doing. Currently it’s doing production cuts because Saudi Arabia has to have $70 a barrel oil to be profitable. Drilling in Middle East is cheap but they use oil to prop up socialist programs and public subsidies so oil has to be high to maintain or their population will riot.

This old gag. It's percentage of the gross not the net. No one has ever paid net except for the fly by night operations looking to swindle new drivers
