my company has a bunch of 2012-2016 petes and i've driven 6 different trucks in the last 4 months. every single truck has had a check engine light on. one truck breaks down, i get a spare, and the spare breaks down the first time i drive it. i get another spare, that spare broke down a week later. i get another spare, that broke down 2 weeks later. ect. ect. those new emission trucks are cleaner than most people realize. they can't give off any pollution when they're in the f----ng shop all the time.

I will be going o/o this spring. I'm gonna roll the dice on new truck from peterbilt Steve. Anyone buy from him??? How that work out???

2 ways to better the odds in your favor.
Purchase something with Cummins power and put a 13 speed manual behind it. Of all the manufacturers listed on Truckpaper. Paccar has more trucks with that combination that all other manufacturers combined. They, or their customers must know something. -
That's because Paccar motors are trash.

Get a DD15 and forgo the Pete until they have a proven engine the X15 maybe just that it's going to take more time to tell.
