I'm sorry I snapped. Its just that its barely in the 60's today. Combine that with sunshine and clear skies and it makes for a case of temporary depression.

Some of the rules drive me nuts. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for safety, but that’s BS. Look at the room lost by having that crap sitting out in front of the trucks.

Who came up with the idea that it’s safer to sit a fire extinguisher on the ground in front of every truck and then put a bunch of cones and a chain around it all so you can’t get to them easily in the event of a fire, anyway?

Ever seen a truck run over a fire extinguisher? I have to think it’s not the safest thing to be standing next to when it happens?

I’m sure there’s some thought behind this stuff that I’m not smart enough to figure out.

Maybe @1951 ford can she’d some light?

Sorry y’all, I didn’t mean to go off on a tangent.

Oh it doesn't stop there. I had on a harness to open the hatch on top of the tank, FRC coveralls, hardhat, splash shield, chemical apron, safety glasses and rubber chemical gloves.

I kept tripping over the apron, hooking the face shield on stuff, bumping the hardhat on stuff, got tangled up in the harness. And the only thing I can do with gloves on is piss my pants. I would have been fine without any of that stuff.

All that stuff hinders the ability to move and function yet it allows the unqualified among us to have a job. Darwin would be disappointed.
