HOS Violation

Yes and no. A 2 minute violation is nothing really. Yes you might get a ticket, but as long as you are respectful you likely will get nothing more than "Don't make a habit of it." lecture. Both from the company and from an officer. That's if you even get pulled over in the next 7 days....

Even if you get a ticket, it's only a violation. It's not like its a false log entry. (I.E. Lying)

 

Well see, if you will look at things with a little common sense, you'll find that you are allowed to travel to a safe haven if you are out of time due to unforeseen circumstances.

What I am more worried about is you living in fear looking over your shoulder until the boom is lowered by the Feds for this truly serious violation. //end sarcasm.

Document it, who told you no problem inside your company and when, what time and how etc. and move along with your evening libations now that you are in the 34 hour rest until next week.
