Is your heater/defroster blowing air?Does the fan speed work?
As said above, if your fan works, check your coolant hoses from radiator and from motor.
Most trucks have two hoses going to each heater. I have a freighliner. Supply and return to the bunk heater, same for your dash heater.
My valves are just single lever handles that turn 90°, not handles like on a water faucet for a hose on your house.
Make sure all 4 are turned on. Usually when the handle is parallel with the hose, it's turned on.
Good luck -
It could also be an actuator that changes from cold to heat not working when switching. Have you heard a clicking noise from inside the dash at all?
