Well you may be in either a place of demand, or they are making the difference on the new. I personally like to pull mine at 5/32" and sell them to a local road service and double or triple casing credit. But they know they are getting used tires never run flat Michelin and pay me a premium.catalinaflyer, PoleCrusher, blairandgretchen and 12 others Thank this. -
I need 24.5 talls on the farm for ground clearance in the fields and dumping at the auger.

Hey look...money ain't everything. Just how greedy does a man supposed to get?
You could go down to the truckstop and give blowjobs for cash money all day long, but a mans got to know his limitations.

Honestly, casing credit depends on what's in demand at the time. I remember 8 or 9 years ago I couldn't give my tall 24.5 casings away, now they are worth 50 to 100 if they are A1 with no damage. 5 years old or newer. I'm to the point to where casing credit dont mean #### to me. If i get something for them great, if not I give them away so I don't end up with a bunch of old tires laying everywhere.
That's just me though. Theres no way I'd base my business operation off what a fleet does. It would only aggravate me and void the reasoning I became an owner operator anyway.catalinaflyer, 7-UP, PoleCrusher and 10 others Thank this. -
