@snowman_w900 They used to have the wapak truck pulls right behind the building. Think 2001 might have been the last year. Shut down the lot. Pull on pavement, run what you brung. Dj, BYOB. Last time I was there, mostly ####### in diesel pickups, one hummer broke like 3 axles at once, and a fleet truck driver got in the mix and bunt up a set of tires. No cops allowed, private property. Then they came on property looking for me. Watch a guy straight up punch a girl in the face and when she went down hit her face on a car. I responded quick. He never saw me. I feel bad I messed up a car with his face, left him in a pile. Feel bad for the car owner. Help was a coming for the girl and I went ahead and decided to just move on along.

Nope, everyone's operation is different. But side wall of tire are max inflation. You need to know your operation and weight. Yes max load on max psi. And better MPG on max psi. But not max life on max psi. I wish my truck was loaded 100% of the time but its not. When warm you can gain up to 7psi. Lower psi rides better. Fleets run max psi again chasing mpg, not tire life cost. They watch and negotiate tire purchase cost, and buy way cheaper than most of us. Im trying to run the best balance for life and milage. And I have put some scale tickets on here before so its not for the weight I haul. Tracking PSI and Tread depth you can learn a lot.iijcatalinaflyer, stwik, blairandgretchen and 11 others Thank this. -
I can verify this. Been driving this "new" (to me) truck for a few weeks now. 11R22.5, 3.70 and besides aesthetics, exactly the same as my old truck except 11R24.5 and 3.90.
24's ride a whole lot better, more "shock absorption" if you can call it that. The old truck even needed new shocks and it never rode like this thing does. I can feel all the bumps more. Granted, this thing probably needs suspension work too, just in different spots. Being 12 years old and never taken care of.catalinaflyer, stwik, blairandgretchen and 16 others Thank this.
