That would be nice. But then..... Where would they get all their Extortion fees after the speed limit changes?

You need to be alittle more realistic. Ohio pulls over as many cars as they do trucks.

Who says I am not being Realistic, I never said that they just pulled over Trucks. I just know that alot of states are using "Safety" issues to get money for the coffers and are in no way concerned about public safety. Trucks or cars!

Les2, your right, they do pull the same amount of cars and they do trucks,
the difference is that us ( truckers ) are usually passing through,
so were almost forced to pay and be on our way,

the cars that get pulled over usually live with-in the area somewhere and have the chance to go to court and fight the ticket and get it reduced with a lesser fine to be paid.

so yes, i would say dont hold you breath on them raising it the speed for us in that state.

if they do ill be shocked.
hopefuly other states will follow this.
    but def not cali haha

I have never heard of a trucker paying and being on his way . I also know plenty of truckers that hired an attorney and got moving violations reduced to nonmoving violations without ever having to go to court .

No but your statement made it sound as Ohio get all their revenue from speeding trucks, maybe I just misunderstood it?

Ohio fines used to be cheap so fighting it was pointless and more of a money loss for most people. They usually didn't realize the other costs until it was to late, but I do understand your point.

Ohio is also been busting out of state cars alot lately. I seen an officer pass a bunch of speeding cars just to pull over an out of state car.

All states should move the speedlimit to at least 65 on freeways in areas that arent highly populated. YOU HEAR THAT IL.
