I gambled and lost today.

Nail in the top of the sidewall of the right inner rear dual was found during my pretrip this morning. Tire was sitting at my normal air pressure so I said screw it. Went and got loaded because I wanna go home. Figured Id call the boss and let them know so we could handle it once I was southbound. 2 1/2hrs to get loaded with lumber and tarp only a 3rd of the load (grade stakes) and I forgot till I was already on the south end of Ft Worth. Decided to chance it till Hillsboro when I pulled off and checked it. 10lbs low but still ok...its a pretty dang new Firestone so I figured either the cheapest tire Loves has or there's a Firestone dealer 40mi S. I Loves was about stupid on their tire price so I checked with the other place. $378 plus the mount. Alright good deal. Had already called the boss and sent a pic. Start rollin S and they call back...we discuss it, they want to check other places in the area before I get down there. They call me back "go ahead and try to get it to the shop, we have a new one here". Allllright.

I stop @ 25mi, still good to go. Stop @ about 60mi, still good to go. Im like "I think I got this". Decide to check it one more time right quick. Its flat and off the bead. ####. So I limp it to this rat hole truck stop just N of Jarrell Tx. And here I sit for the night with no response from the boss.

Ive had 2 nights at home since the 8th? of Jan I think.

2nd Friday Ive tried to get home only to have a tire issue and get stuck.
