So what's the deal with trucks driving right up on other drivers leaving no space?

I'll answer your question, and then I'm done with this thread. I've been driving for 39 years.

Good. I didn't ask how long have you been driving. I asked how many tickets and accidents have you had. The fact that you didn't answer says all I need to know.

I tend to ignore those who preach to me who have been in more accidents and have more tickets than I do.

Well supertrucker, it only takes ONE incident and all them miles and 25 years will go up in smoke if you rear-end somebody. I just pray you don't maim or kill anyone out there.

    Well that justifies it. :|

You're joking aren't you? Nobody could be that dense to think that 1 extra mph is that freakin' important. I usually run a few below my governed speed and have no problem with dropping it a few more. If you only have a couple of miles an hour on the person ahead of you it's not worth the effort to pass them in most cases IMO.

Not true. I already posted that brake checking is highly illegal and can get you a wreckless driving infraction and a hefty fine as well as being sued by the person who hit you. I can see over the top of every 4 wheeler. I can see there is no reason for them to slam on their brakes. If there is any reason something might happen I keep back. So far not a single one has done anything the least bit strange. They let me go around and sometimes even flash me back over when I'm clear.

And don't worry. I've never hurt anyone with my vehicle. I've even never harmed anyone with my plane and worked on airliners carrying hundreds of people, nobody harmed. I don't have a history of harming anyone in anything I do.

I'm not a super trucker, I just don't take ######## from anyone and y'all don't like that. Oh well.

My family has been taught better than to ride along in the left lane. If they get in the left they are to lead and not hold it up.

If I see someone holding up the left lane I avoid it. That's an accident waiting to happen and I don't want to be part of it. I love watching the 4 wheelers get mad. I've seen bird flips and all kinds of stuff.

Don't brake check, its illegal and you can get pulled over for it.

Brake checking can easily be the cause of an accident. Thus brake checking can get you a huge ticket.
