So this one. You have been on duty 19 hours. Your the only available heavy in the fleet not on a call. Its 32 or 33 miles from you. You get a emergency response call from FD. Two people trapped under semi and they can't get to them. You in a 64,000lbs Sliding Rotator that runs 99 mph. Well we called it the 100mph crane. What do you do? You play it safe or put your butt out there? You already know what I did. Both passangers lived, bad shape, but lived.

Sweet 63, I think ? Thanks for posting these. I was thinking that red one at the top was a Cornbinder, but I can't tell. Expanded it almost looks like it has a MF on the center piece ? Massey Ferguson never built trucks did they ? What is that ?

I wasn't A Harley rider I was a sport bike rider. Only reason, I was built like @stwik and looked silly on a big Harley.
Rode it from Central Cal to Coast alot. Had this road called "Hecker pass"

It was a blast., but even that run was enough for me. I give those guys credit who rode to sturges from Cali. That's some stones for sure .

Getting bit by the mag on a TD14 gas/diesel cured me of ever wanting to do it again.

My first job was in a gas station that still pumped gas and did services as well as ran a wrecker. We were working on an old basket case car one night and the boss started it and said “well the oil light went out” one of the other guys thought he said pull the coil wire off, he did. It was an eye opening experience.
