@johndeere4020 I know you like this stuff. First off the editing sucks, And Its Rick Seitz, not Rick Madison. I can not speak of any other yahoos in the video. But the wrecker is owned and Operated by Rick. Now this is training in a controlled environment. Things get done a little different and faster pace on the job. But you wanna learn how to do a single lane recovery. Rick is the guy. Family business since 1927.

I here ya. In my early teens we had an old late 60’s model sears riding lawn mower, the hood had fallen apart so it was taken off, the spark plug wire didn’t have a boot on it, one day when I was mowing around a tree a twig broke off and was laying on top the motor next to the plug and my dumb ### not thinking reached up and brushed it off and hit that spark plug.
To start that old mower you had to wrap a rope around the crankshaft sometimes when it started the crankshaft didn’t let go of the rope.
I’ve been shocked by a welder more than once too.....not much fun either. -
Is that a mag detonator?

Let's just say me and any magnito type devices do not get along. Every once in a while I'll get close to the distributor and my forearm will have fantom muscle spasm.
And the device looks evil....... @OLDSKOOLERnWV -
I was working on a 2 stroke dirt bike changing a plug, little brother setting on it. Boot in my hand he kicker her over.blacklabel, 1951 ford, Feedman and 14 others Thank this. -
When I was kid I had a ‘56 Chevy Bel Air and a good friend of mine had a ‘55. His had a hot 327 with HEI ignition. Well he saved and bought a Mallory UniLite ignition to make it even hotter.
We pulled it in the shop and put it all on. Fired it up and she was missing. You could hear spark jumping but couldn’t see it. So I turned the lights off and boom, it was jumping right out the side of one of the wires that was laying on the metal inner fender. Without thinking, he reached down and grabbed it. -
When ya get out there you can go ahead and get started on my front brakes and get the oil draining.... thanks.1951 ford, Feedman, BigCam9670 and 17 others Thank this.
