@shooter my dad was a 56 Bel Air crackhead. Only real car ever. I think he said between 55,56,57's he had owned 15 of them. Some nice, alot junk. One mint one that was stolen. Had finally decided we were gonna built him a nice cruiser/hot rod before he passed. Makes me still want one. Best looking shoe box in my opinion.

If you notice it has a hand crank on the right side, it is fully operated by hand. I myself was unsure of its original use, my freind Jim found it in a scrap yard, with lots of time researching he finally found out what it truly is. Jim built this CASE stationary engine for me as well. His home is a small museum of restored tractors and engines, real as well as toys. He owns some very nice vintage flywheel engines as well. He owns a early 1900’s International engine that like the engine @johndeere4020 mentioned earlier, starts on gas then runs on diesel. Except Jim’s engine runs on kerosene & water. Anyone know why our forefathers mixed water with kerosene to run a engine???? I’ll give you all a few on that one. -
