I’m curious as well. Especially off road in job sites with the pusher lifted. But this is the first true heavy spec tractor I’ve had, so I may be missing something. But I like mine.

 

Take it how you like. But drove a heavy without twin boxes and 425 tires. Second box was added very fast. Drove terrible.

 

Certainly is a tall undertaking

I ran a 2005 with 20K front and twin boxes. I never had a problem with it but then again I have never ran a 20k front without twin boxes.

 

I didn’t think you could get anything over 16k without twins.

Isn't tat why a lot of guys started to use bigger tires...besides looking cool...was to soften the ride on a rigid?
