Not a glitch, it's actually by design. Certain words or phrases trigger the post to go into a moderation queue so that we can look it over prior to posting. That keeps a lot of spam and advertising from ever being seen by you guys, but in some cases, it also ties up a legitimate post for a while. In that particular case, 'PDI' triggered that action because it's used in so many emission mod or tuning posts.

Nope. stock primary chain drive with a tin cover. How else does one keep the driveway from rusting?

Hand shifters look cool but make for a busier ride in traffic, especially with a suicide clutch instead of a mousetrap. Gearboxes of that vintage aren't synchronized either. Of course, nobody rides one of these because they're practical or comfortable.

To be honest, I'm more of an old school purist when it comes to custom rides, whether they have 2 or more wheels. The billet 2 wheel barges seen on tv shows just don't appeal to me. Mine will likely never have a fat back tire or belt drive anything.

My big ride days are about done. More about changing tastes than anything else. I got rid of the long distance road bikes about 10 yrs ago and haven't really missed them. Me and a (ex, long story) riding bud did a certified 2k in 2 day Iron Butt run one summer, Dawsonville GA to Needles CA. Lots of day or two trips around the southeast and a few runs out to the left coast. My wife and I did a lot of those rides together and her health isn't up to it any more, so that kinda sucks some of the fun out of it. If I got the urge, the Kawasaki still has the legs to do it just like it did 45 yrs ago with 7 yr old me riding on the back. Another circle of friends I've kept up with for the past 15 yrs or so tend to meet up at various places around the SE, so a longer ride is definitely a possibility, sooner or later.

I’ve been watching the last few years. My wife has always been interested but I’ve had other hobbies. Before I moved out here to the Midwest we camped all winter long and did off-road events, motorcycle and boating. Not much time for football. Where I worked has season tickets to all the sports ( baseball, football, basketball and golf, we also were vendors at nascar) so I’ve been to a lot of games and events. I’ve always felt the same. A bunch of over paid clowns.

Now that we live in the Midwest I have not been able to do any of the hobby’s that I loved out west. So football is a pastime to spend with friends and neighbors. And the wife is really enjoying herself.

It helps that the local team (Bears) are on an upswing.

Yeah, I've noticed that sometimes the 'thanks' and some other features are a little slow to respond. Seems to happen more often when tapped with a mobile device than when clicked with a PC. But, yeah, just keep doing it until you get it like you want it.
