i met a guy like 15 yrs ago at a trkstop, he was huge, he would call a cab and go to the gym every chance he could, he was waiting for a cab when i spoke to him. we have far more tools these days to use such as uber and smart phones. so like anything if your commited sure its possible. a dedicated run or a company that offers longer runs would better suit you, for cardio there are many bike/jogging/running trails not far from truckstops.

I recently started carrying one of my kettlebells and a jump rope with me, they don’t take up any room at all. And as long as the weather’s okay and there’s no restrictions about being outside the truck, I’ll do a brief workout while I’m waiting to be loaded/unloaded at a customer. No time lost, no cost. It’s an option, anyway.

This is actually going to be my plan. Trip planning will to include stops where there is a gym I will have memberships to and utilize uber, a bike, or whatever means necessary to get to and from it. As for diet, again, trip planning and packing my own fridge with my own foods. I used to be a chef many moons ago and am perfectly capable whipping up some creative options with a single burner camp stove, etc. I'm 51 years old now, only need a gym 3-4 days per week and the other days cardio, which I can do anywhere, even a truck stop. I'll keep a set of those all in one dumbbells and an adjustable bench for the days I cannot get to a gym. I'm not just average Joe fit guy, I used to basically bodybuild and I know it will take a hit being on the road, but I got believe I can still stay fit and chose this as a career. A dedicated route will for sure help in this quest.

I carry my boxing gear (jump rope, gloves ,hand wraps) . I also have Planet Fitness membership that includes the massage tables. Exercise is important to me and keeps me young .

there are also many hotels like holiday inn expresses that have truck parking and a fitness room if it fits in your budget its good to do every so often or when there are no other options. plus its nice to get a room every now and then i think anyway.
