British Columbia regulations say up to 8 axle (super b) you must carry enough chains to chain both drive axles (singles are acceptable) and at least 1 wheel on each trailer. They do recommend at least one set of triple rail chains. Alberta is the same but is only recommended.Saskatchewan and Manitoba have no chaining regulations.
Ontario will FINE you for using any chains on paved Queens Highways. I do not know what there are for regulations east of Ontario but I have used chains in Quebec.

 

A block might would work @superhauler, but I doubt I could move it far enough to move 1300 pounds.

 

Maybe if you try to block it, you have a scraper neck now. Might could finagle it with deck shims. But mine isn’t modular

Unbelievable he’s got the equipment to haul a 336 and doesn’t know how. I was at Ritchie Bros last week and two guys were there with mechanical detaches and couldn’t figure out how to detach.
