Any ideas how to unload a toolbox from a pickup? 60" long by 24" deep. Loaded on a 4 way pallet. I'd try and use a skid steer with forks but I have a feeling 4' forks won't cut it. I have it resting on a 4x4 block on each end to keep the casters from denting the floor of the truck box.

Can't lift from the side can you? Probably nothing stout enough unless you can run straps under it.

No unfortunately. I may just have to stick another 4x4 in the middle for extra support and try it with the skid steer forks.

Get your forks above the box... run some four inch straps with portable winches... lift that sucker off?

You just have to lift enough for someone to drive the pickup forward.

Can’t imagine a thousand pounds is too much for a skid steer.
