If I drop the trailer to the ground flat will I even be able to pick it up?

    Question of our times...

It’s iffy without ramps. You can try it while empty and see. With a heavy load it will be difficult. Take several block with you. Blocks are your friend in this business.

Yes, gather up any and all blocking you can find. You'll find that one special block that works perfectly for blocking your neck on the rails, keep that one with you forever. I have mine and won't part with it.

I did for years without ramps. Here's the trick I used, when you go to pull out to drop the neck back down to reattach the dog bones, only let it roll down the little angle cuts on the end of your frame rails just enough for it to be low enough to get the bones back in place. If it drops down far enough that it hits the end of the rails below the angle cuts you'll have to hit it REALLY HARD to jump it back up on the frame. Takes practice and inching ahead 1" at a time, stop, check a dog bone, move ahead 1 more inch, rinse & repeat till you get them back on.

No, can’t think of anything. Fried Unyuns maybe? Fresh Underwear?
