IDK is Stwik can run a forklift but there's one there in the building that can lift the front of that deck to get the block out.

    ####ing A. Alright then.
So. Taking it apart is a lot easier than putting it back together when you’re a rookie.

    To recap... in short...

DONT PUT A BIG ### 4x4 BLOCK UNDER THE RGN.

Whew. Got that outta the way.

Under up getting thin plywood strips to Jack the neck up high enough so the safety pins would clear the front of the trailer... rest was pretty self explanatory...

Trailer doesn’t have an auto-lock on the pin so I’ll have to rock it a little bit with it pushed in I guess.

I’m dropping it on the ground tomorrow. Maybe a 2x4? I don’t know. Either way I won’t be dropping it as high as I just did that’s for #### sure.

Plenty of folks with more rgn experience than me here: I only put blocks under the deck when I drop the trailer to hook something else.

    That’s... how I found it.

Wasn’t sure with the theory but now it makes a ton of sense as to why you don’t do it when you’re pulling the neck off.

My only concern with dropping it on the ground is getting under it... even with my bags dropped...

Thinking a 2x4 would be better?

This is the truth, people look at me like I’m crazy. I’m always picking up little pieces of wood and wishing I had a pair of them. Loading docks at equipment dealers are a treasure trove. When I pulled a beam a lot I had all kinds of little blocks that saved me plenty of times.

You’ll be able to do it with your eyes closed before you know it.
