Been driving OTR for 29 years and have never gotten a moving violation of any kind so it's not me running up the CSA numbers.

It's not them. Think about the ones constantly running their mouths, putting down all the "new" drivers and you've found the problem.

I didn't cross this one, although I should have at tye front. But on the rear of that trailer I used 2 binders and 1 chain cause the suspension wasn't very stiff. You can run a chain as far as it will go using binders to make tie downs.
