Sounds fine, the skidloader is fine wit two chains, technically the boom is independent so should have something over it. I never do on a skidloader but the right DOT could write you.
How heavy is the trencher?

That trailer has outrigger brackets . I always get my hook close to one of those to keep it from sliding
-
They can’t, hook them against a D ring or outrigger bracket. Look where my binder is hooked, you can see in the other circle what I’m hooked against.
-
I was gonna describe them but I couldnt think of the name...
Yes you’re right. It... well... it has out rigger brackets. Figured if I got the hook behind one and snapped it pulling backwards it wouldn’t go forward.
So that’s gonna make this a little bit easier I think. -
I'm not sure....should probably look that up. I'm guessing about the same weight as the skiddy.
-
Oh need that.
-
10/4...
Proved my hypothesis... alright... don’t over think it now Stwikerino.
Enough talking about it for me. Think I’ll get it tomorrow if their willing to load me without ramps or something...
Y’all have a good night gents
-
I've had people tell me that before. Must be an old soul.

You need to isolate the articulation technically, it probably has or had a lock out bar. If it’s less than 10,000 and your putting 4 points on it that would cover your articulation, if it’s over 10,000 you need to do it separate. Honestly I highly doubt anyone would ever mess with you.

You shouldn’t need ramps, if you have to throw a couple blocks down.
