If he drove for prime in the past maybe he sould go back there. I have friends at prime husbands drives wife is a ride along after 6 months your husband can train you.
He will need to take a week long course and you can do the school at the same time then he can do you psd training with you then your TNT training.
I also know of a husband wife team there average Miles 5500 plus per week they run coast to coast.

Back in 2010 I trained a husband wife team he had driven in the past but not for the last 3 years. It was a challenge 3 people in a peterbuilt 386 and it was also in the middle of winter.
They upgraded stayed with the company for 2 years then bought there on large car Pete and ran for Mercer pulling a step deck did well.
I think the sleeper was 160 inch it was huge.
I'm sure there's a company that will train you both together keep calling.

I mentioned CFI in another thread.
Abilene Motor Express might hire him and put him through their short refresher. You can ride along after he is assigned his own truck. Abilene doesn't have a cdl training program though.

I was with FFE a year and change prior to wife attending trucking school and was transported to dallas as a passenger pending orientation and me being trainer. All the arrangements were established in a timely manner with one goal for FFE back then, to be a national firetruck and rescue late solo loads and sometimes late trainers etc. That ate in to our earnings, and opened doors for McKesson work after. That was our best work together.

The reason she did not continue was because of health, specifically pending obesity in weight. No matter what we did in food to cut down on the intake she was sitting around or sleeping in a moving truck all the time. And boom her body rebelled.

Took two years to clear that up and return to normal weight to protect her future health. Well it's been just about 20 years since and she is doing well. That's our story. We are evaluating her liver soon to see if the cancer metasized and forming a new tumor in it. If so, it will kill her sometime this year. But the advanced directives are all already in place so.. there is that.

Good luck to you, there are companies out there, but your husband has to be part of them long enough to be given the permission as it were to train you after you get your schooling and CDL etc.
