I called 911. There, help has been rendered.
I don't stop as it tends to be more dangerous, what with idiot 4 wheelers not paying attention and all. At lest calling 911 will get a vehicle with lights on out there.

Some situation require immediate help. I mean those when either you help now or they may die.

You don't even have to call 911. Thoughts and prayers will fix anything.

That's how I interpret the story. Sounds like some critical details are missing from this news story.

I will continue to base my decisions on gut feeling and situational appearance. I broke down 2hile test driving a car I was working on about 5 Miles from home one night. Like an idiot in a tshirt, no jacket and a cold cold rain. I did t try to flag anyone down but due to the remote location and the jeep with flashers behind me, everyone who passed me, mostly Truckers, knew that I was broken down and In a bad position, I had nowhere to hide a weapon yet no one except a farmer about 1/4 mi. From My house bothered to stop or even have a cop check me out. When I have to become a douchebag with no concern for my fellow man especially if it's a mother and a child, I'm out. There are risks in everything, you all continue to drive past the seriously in need, I choose to render assistance in certain cases and try to help out, if I get a flare gun shot up my ###, I apologize to all of the selfish, I however wont assist in making the world even more selfish
