I've actually experienced something like this. Not going out in boxers to BBQ a steak, but late at night at a friend's cabin, been drinking, someone mentions "BURGERS!" and it's on. Screw getting dressed up. They only take a few minutes to cook. Everyone grabs their drink, we go outside and stand around the BBQ and chat while they cook, then back inside.

Also, winter hot-tubbing is a big thing up here. I personally don't get it, but a lot of Winnipeggers have four season hot-tubs... outside.
