I used to have a '69 F-100. Pulled the 300-6 out and put in a 360. Three on the tree, Armstrong steering and no power brakes.

My wife took it to work once while I was fixing her car in the summer. It was hotter than hell out and she came rolling in in her bra, no shirt. It suddenly seemed hot outside to me and I lost focus on my mechanic work for other activities.

I regret selling that truck. Although if I still had it I doubt she'd ride around like that now.

It's a little quicker now shift it at 72-74. Still enough to give an old fart a thrill.

Well your hand dont know your a "old fart". Most 19 year olds couldnt be taught to shift like that. Its all auto's with computers shifting at the strip anymore. Mostly.
