GTX ? Or a Road Runner ?
I'm thinking a 70 Road Runner. GTX didn't have the hood with those power humps, did it ?cke, 4mer trucker, Zeviander and 13 others Thank this. -
69 383 Road runner, Its my friend mom car and she drags it to. Had to tow it once with rods hanging out of block. Missing was a green 69 SS chevelle, silver 69 396 SS Camaro. They were getting a MSD box for the 69 hemi super bee, the blue one, whos mom has the road runner. Melted her down out playing.
If you look close the 74 GMC you can see a blower sticking out of hood. 2x4's on top of a 454, caged and tubed on a 3/4 ton camper special. Used extra gm wheel tubs so all the lines look right in bed, just very narrow. The blue 69 camero has long history. Its not mine. But I helped put it together. It was a drag car new. Only has about 9k miles. The original owner died, not in it but another car. The current own and buddy bought it from the widow to get it out of her garage. Sat another 20 years. We convinced him to finally do something. Kept it drag/street. 383 smallblock 4 speed tubed and caged. Keep and reused alot of old original drag parts, just updated it. It still is making trips to the strip now and then. It would have been a low mile original collector if put back to original. But It was done more in tribute to first owner and stayed a drag car. And the red 62 Nova that looks like a nice dailey driver has a 327 in it the will surprise the hell out of most in its sheep clothing. -
looking around the internet it looks like that is a 68 GTX or Road Runner. Both appear to have that hood or very similar hoods.cke, Feedman, 4mer trucker and 14 others Thank this.

All caught up!! Parked in Greer. Thanks to all the wrecks and construction I'm beat! Finish delivering in the a.m. then down to Lincoln to load for Chicago... Yahoo....I can barely contain my excitement...oh well, everybody got to be somewhere. I was told it pays..and I quote "stupid money". We shall see what the young lady behind the keyboard thinks is stupid money!

Mine had 6 in a row to make it go as well.
I found a 1965 Custom 500 with a V8 289 with a C4 for $200, so it got a 289 with the original 3 in the tree, manual steering and brakes, AM / FM / 8 Track
. I liked that old truck. That 300 6 was a good engine, only time it laid down was when I got 1/2 drunk and poured half a box of mothballs in the fuel tank lol.
Feedman, cke, 4mer trucker and 18 others Thank this. -
@rank go back a page and check out the Mope. I know you will appreciate it.
Feedman, cke, 4mer trucker and 12 others Thank this. -
The white one is a 69, But Im second guessing the blue one. Trying to recall it was few years ago. It has a hemi, its very low mile car, and driven like it should. I struggling to recall exact model.

Couldn’t tell if that was stripes or air vents on the hood. I knew the body was different than this Mercury I use to have.
