HAD TO FIX IT SIX. had to narrow it down a bit.

 

With no voice box or morals!

 

It is a lot of time doing fitment on body panels, especially the reproduction stuff. A lot of people don't realize the time (and patience) it can take getting every line right, and getting every gap to be as spot on as possible. On the cab I posted the picture of, I had to do a lot of fussing to get the doors to fit properly. Subtle grinding here, a little bending there, shims for the hinges, and on the passenger side I had to actually add to the door where it curved under neath the windshield frame. Just add some welding rod, some grinding/sanding and TA-DA, never know what was done.

 

The way I deter breaking in is being social with the neighbors. Where my shop is located is in a part of town that isn't the, how do I say this? Wrong side of the tracks ? But the locals know me and know I'll help any way I can. In return they look out for my property. Had one break in in all the yrs I have been there. He was caught in the act ! He was luck it wasn't me that caught him.

I had a '72 C-20 back in high school, bought it from a buddy for super cheap despite it being in excellent condition. Sold it to my dad after I left home at 19, and he had it for a long time. Few years ago we sold it to a friend of mine because it was just sitting behind my dad's house rotting away. I regret doing that every #### day. He's done a little work to it but it's mostly just been a driveway decoration. I also know he wouldn't sell it back to me for a price I'd be willing to pay.

 

I can not even write a list of cars I want and in a order. I would fight myself trying to put them in order of favorite. Way to many, then there are bikes, pickups, semis, scooter, cushmans, 4wheelers, heavy equipment, boats, planes, trains, Ugh I better stop. Better go pick up the wifes bus of a gmc from the shop. So cool hauls 5 people and get good milage. I call it the bus. About as much fun as a bus. Except the Cool bus, guy used to come to Norwalk strip. See now even my mind I need this. Im sick guys.
