I’m an R33/35 fan myself... it’s all about dem curves..

 

I agree with that. The new R35 is great and a solid platform for tuning but it is a completely different beast from the original built in a different era. Either one would be fun. An R35 is built to take on today's market where all you need is a laptop and a grasp of tuning concepts. It also gives the driver an extra confidence boost letting them push themselves further.
Remember when they were around 70k when they came out, somewhat affordable and now they are almost double in price and used ones retained their value.

 

Next time y'all go give a heads up. It be cool to meet a "hometown old school trucker"! We used to go to 75-80 when it was open and Capital and MIR. I don't have a car as of right now but still like going. Last time I took my son to "Pinks" at MIR.

 

I always thought a '65 Chevy fleetside slammed and tubbed with a built Cummins would be cool!

Hey I forgot to ask y'all about this the other day...after loadin lumber in Mansfield Ar. I stopped at the small truck stop next to where I loaded. While Im fueling, a white new Peterbilt? I think it was pulled in next to me with a white dry van. I was talkin to thd ol guy who was on the other side of me, and when we walked in to get out reciepts, I noticed this truck had a US Govt plate and no name or dot # on the truck. 2 dudes in the the truck.

Wtf did I see?
