Thanks, it's not a SS I just put the badges on it. It was a 307 powerglide car. Certainly not as stout as that Elk your pedaling but very fun to drive for sure.
Yes sir, its Holley EFI. Like to never have got it right lol. Made me wish I had went with a BG center squirter, till we finally got it dialed in.

We are doomed. Our generation has limited understanding of what actually goes on behind the scenes of maintaining our way of life.
Take Uber for example, it was great in theory but it changed the entire NYC taxi and car service industry. Sure it is now more convenient but what used to be a way to support a family is now a way to stay at the poverty line.

But you ain’t seen the Uber and Lyft driver’s were protesting because they want to get health benefits and retirement...........

You know, after they 1099’d themselves into a job that paid them the same with their car as cabbies made driving for someone else.

Rebuilding is a lost art!! Alternators, starters, pumps and such. When I was a kid we were taught all of this by the older generation. When I was at the car dealership one of the techs couldn't get the right starter for his pickup. I asked why don't you take the broken one apart and fix it?? His reply..."you can do that"? 290large.jpg
