Lap top. Had to drill the intake bosses for the injectors. Speed shop in Memphis fooled with it till they were blue in the face and I was red. It would either flood down low or not have enough on the top end. The "tech" had no idea how to use the info from O2 sensors or map sensor. Looked at me like a fool when I went to pulling plugs out to see what's up lol. I ordered it built the motor then took it to them to dial in. After 4 weeks and lots a heart burn I went and got it. Found a ol head guy in Searcy they call "Doc". He had the software builds hot rods for a living. A 30 pack of brew and 15 minutes my trouble was over. He backs it out of his garage eases out on the street easy in 1st and 2nd looks at me and says I'm gonna giver a lil tap and see what happens. Hit 3rd sidestepped the clutch after he got it back straight he says real calm, we may have to fine tune it a touch but I think you'll like it. LMFAOLast edited: Feb 10, 2019

Just my opinion but, seems they’ve always built laws like it’s a “one size fits all” industry, and it’s not.
We don’t all run big miles per day.
We don’t all do multiple stops daily.
We don’t all require the same hours of sleep. You know where I’m coming from.
Be safe out there. -
Ricky, don't lose that number !
It's the only one you need. -
That's great you found someone that knew what was up!! Those EFI's are supposed to be nice when done right. No tuning for altitude..just cruising! That is definitely a cool ride Wore! I drilled my Victor Jr. Intake on my 383 for a NOS fogger. Spent hours on that intake!! Went out and the first time I sprayed it showed all the weakness in the block! I've never seen a motor grenade like that one!! It ripped the center webbing out of the block, destroyed the steel crank, the rods and Keith Black pistons were everywhere! Wish I would've just stuck with cam2 and air!!! Lol!Al. Roper, cke, peterbilt_2005 and 20 others Thank this.

not a tech
just another parts changer -
Pretty big differences yeah. You get use to how it is where you are though. I'd been on the cars over there for 15 years and loved it but when I got here 6 and a half years ago i thought I'd try something different. Besides I'd have to virtually learn alot of stuff again. Different car haulers, different shaped cars, all new dealerships etc. We used to run upto 16ft tall ove there whereas here its alot lower. Certainly don't want to go back, especially considering it took me 7 years to get here legally. Like it too much here and wouldn't want to go back to the congestion over there and the 55mph trucks. Only thing I dont like here is the long winters!!! Didnt get much snow over there, maybe a few inches a year.Al. Roper, cke, peterbilt_2005 and 20 others Thank this.

There was a mechanic I spoke with briefly at a shop in Jessup that was here with his wife on her work visa that was about to expire. He wasn't looking forward to going back. He liked it here a lot more. Didn't say exactly why but he wanted to stay.

Too hot a plug and too much timing?
