I don't know if I posted pics of this car before. My good friend Steve ordered this 67 Chevelle new in October of 66. $2813. delivered. He had to take his dad with him to sign for a new car,and they had a leftover 66 SS396 Chevelle in the showroom, that Steve wanted. Steves dad said no,that's too big of an engine, and wouldn't let him buy it. But he said he could order a new Chevelle, just no Big Block. Steve conned his dad and ordered a 67 Malibu Bolero Red,L-79 327-350 hp.,4 speed, more hp. than the 396-325 on the showroom floor.Got the car right before Christmas of 66. We raced and ran the crap out of it for years, but luckily never blew it up or wrecked it. Steve did a meticulous frame off resto on it about 10 years ago. Still has it's original engine. He's had it over 52 years now,40k original miles. Excuse my crappy photos.

I think they were asking 11 for it. I thought it was a little high, the interior wasn’t in great shape. And probably ain’t much of a market for a bulletproof Marmon. Maybe south of the border.cke, johndeere4020, Feedman and 14 others Thank this.

I think the old 14 hour rule would work real well today, the one where it wasn't a consecutive shift but you just needed a 10 hour break to get a fresh 14.
I find it strange that the government cares so much about "safety" but lets medical professionals run wild without any breaks or limitations. I've got a decent lengthy read i could share if anyone is interested. -
Speaking of south of the border. I had a good time drinking with a Mexican driver last night. First one I’ve met outside of the trade zone. He was an interesting dude. Gave me some real insight to how things are done down there. Oh, and he’s a big fan of Donald Trump. He said he was working on getting papers to live in Canada. He said it was easier to get papers there than in the US.

The whole story goes like this. She was an office mate of my wifes. She was one of these women who changed men about every week, and she thought new boobs might help them stick around a little longer. This took place at some office shindig and the new tit woman was wanting everybody to feel them. My wife touched them with her fingers and I touched them with all four fingers. After the shindig was over I told my wife that that old girls money would have been better spent on a shrink to find out why she was so fked up, aside from being just a ####.cke, Al. Devastating. Been thinking about that all night. I don’t want to be nosy, but for him to say that, that tells me that he knows something’s wrong.
My mom watches all of that Lifetime and Hallmark stuff. Everything on lifetime is rape, murder, and child molesting, and burning beds. And mom is now too paranoid to sleep. You can’t possibly bombard your brain with so much negativity and not be affected.
On the other hand, there’s the Hallmark channel, where all the shows are about some stupid, self centered “domineering” beech of a woman who falls in love with some kind, quiet and meek sissy of a guy whose sole purpose in life is to wipe her arse. Totally unrealistic. No woman likes a doormat. But Hallmark tells them they will.
So, mom is screwed up. My little sister is screwed up. In fact, every woman they know is on meds for mental issues.
There’s one thing that I see on every television show when I watch TV....the men and women arguing. I don’t get that. I don’t understand. Why are you arguing? You can’t have a difference of opinion? That’s a sign of weakness in a Man. Does your lady yell at you? She’s trying to get your attention.
A woman with kids is going to be mama bear. Your role as a Man isn’t to be papa bear, your role is to be the shelter in which mama bear raises the cubs. You’re supposed to be strong enough to battle the forces of nature. The world around you can rage uncontrollably, but inside the shelter, life for the family is calm. That’s a Man.
Listening is an art. When that woman comes to you all loud excited and animated, telling you how horrible things are in her world, do you hear the noise she’s making? Or can you actually listen to what she is saying? If you can listen, the noise calms down instantly. And the kids, they see this. Even before they are able to walk, they can understand.
Say for example, you’ve been doing push-ups and exercising trying to build your strength. You visit a gym and they’re having a powerlifting contest. You decide to enter. If this is your first time with iron, do you really know what you can lift? And see, the bad thing is, if you fail your opening lift, you cannot pick a lower weight.
It takes a certain amount of strength to be a Man. It takes a stronger Man to be a husband. It takes an even stronger Man to be a father. If a guy and his girlfriend are ARGUING and yelling at each other, marriage is going to destroy them. If a husband and wife and arguing and yelling, kids are going to be too heavy. See, you want to be that calm shelter for a woman before she becomes your wife. You want to be that strong shelter for a wife before you have kids.
