On the lake here when it freezes, you are to remove doors to drive on the lake, so there is that.

In the Questions from New Drivers section, have you ever noticed that the vast majority of the new people have no questions about driving?
Why do the majority of new people look to get into trucking? Because they are fat, antisocial losers who need a place to live. They sign on to the mega because they don’t have to do anything to get a crap job. The path of least resistance is crammed full of the least desirable people.
The person who beats the bush looking for a gig automatically is a stronger driver. He’s not looking for easy, he’s looking for quality. He will do a better job.
Put both these drivers in a truck with the same specs and same rules and the quality driver will be twice as productive.

On the other hand, there’s the teamsters. Good drivers, but socialists. Want a level field so that the better drivers won’t make more money than the slackers. Maximum wage for minimum input. Sounds great, right? Penalized the best of the best and rewards the scum and makes it difficult for the company to be competitive. Out of everyone the HOS helps them the most. Under the old 14/10, they were getting scorched.
