I've rebuilt the water pumps (there's 2 of them) on the 239 flathead V-8 in my 51 F3. It was cheaper to buy a rebuild kit than a remanufactured pump, even back in the 90's.

Yes on the first, and I have met some outstanding young people. Just far and few. They will be successful no matter what they do.

The org. point to teamsters or unions were not this way. It was to protect the employees from the Company. Steel mills and coal mine companies were murdering thier employees. Not protecting guys that didn't wanna work. The men that wanted to work would run the others off. My dad was a teamster owner op. But when the teamsters shat on the steel haulers, the teamster in short poked a hornets nets of little truckers and lost. Yea they were dirty and hurt people. But standing up to a bully is never pleasant. The unions should focus on what they really were intended for. We need a balance of everthing. This we dont have. Hoffa Sr. was a corrupt person. But he did fight for truckers.

@wore out Dont know much about them. But have seen this truck pull up in Ohio since the 1980's. I think at one time they were a husband and wife team with two of them. Recall them in a pull off once. Idk if its still the same owners or not. But it would make for a interesting ride home if the Mrs. whipped up on ya.
