It is not just truckin, cars have become so good at keeping themselves straight until it just can't. I don't doddle down the highway, I either speed up or slow down a bit to stay clear of packs. I remember going through Oke City on morning with some ice. SUV's were passing me only to be seen spun out a mile down the road. That technology allows below average drivers to drive often well beyond their ability or their vehicles ability. The lack of judgement is being built into cars and trucks now with lane keeping and passive braking. The idea of self driving cars is perhaps the best option for the masses, that includes steering wheel holders in semis.
The Dunning Kruger effect, the stupid are too stupid to know how stupid they are.

Dully noted. Essentially, the big corporate drive for money hinders the pharmacists job. Pretty much, we only count pills and verify vs actually using the medical knowledge we are taught and everyone is too scared to do anything about it
