Read history. Every advancement in human, civil, workers and labor has required actions such as the American Revolution, the Boston Tea Party, the civils rights movement, civil disobedience, marches, protests, marches and strikes! The power elite are not going to change their mind unless we decide not to co-operate and even do whatever we can to stop them! Our Grandfathers knew this! That's why they did whatever it took to get things done!:yes2557:

If you think "The Man" is keeping you down, that's YOUR problem. Many people realize that their hard work and entrepreneurship is what will get them ahead. They don't blame anyone for their lot in life, but work hard to improve their situation.
Perhaps if people took a little more active role in their personal and professional advancement, they would be too busy becoming successful to have time for affixing blame.

If you are SO worried about Mexican trucks stealing your business, then maybe you should provide the kind of service to the customer that he would happily pay what you consider a fair rate.

Hey DY Ive been watching the decline of our nation for the past 30 years, we the sheeple are just sitting back and watching them chip away the things that once made our country great.Watching them invoke laws on us, taking a little bit of our freedoms away and do nothing about it,and they thought I was out there 15 years ago, its happening like some said it would.

i guess the growers will have to cut the wages of the illegals who do the picking back to $40.00 per day, maybe even lay a few off.

Illegals don't pick wheat, corn, or soybeans. Last year, Mexico was the top export destination for U.S. rice, the No. 2 destination for soybeans and the third largest buyer of U.S. wheat, according to U.S. Agriculture Department data.

Obama and Hoffa are hurting the U.S. farmer.

then raise the price to offset the tariff, they'll back down when they have no wheat available to them at a good price.and the soybeans make good biodiesel.as for the rice they won't be able to get it from china, now that all the chinese are making Nike shoes for Wal-Mart. And like you said ,if those farmers can't compete then they don't deserve to be in business. As for "Obama and Hoffa hurting the U.S. farmer", well NAFTA has been hurting the U.S. worker since it started and the illegals have devastated the healthcare system and overburdened the schools in California for decades! Not to mention the AFDC and welfare benefits paid to the mothers of the "anchor babies". You need to come visit SoCal and see how the Mexicans have "blessed" us with their graffiti, drugs, gangs, child molestations, hit and run accidents, etc. Hospitals have closed because of this, schools are overcrowded and burdened with kids who can't speak english, gang graffiti is everywhere you can think of,Hispanic males are suspects wanted in charges stemming from child molestations frequently on the news, unlicensed and uninsured illegal aliens make up the majority of "hit and run" accidents. The offices of Social Services are full of illegal aliens who had a child here and are now eligible for welfare and they take FULL advantage of it. Don't believe me,,ask a nurse, cop or social worker who lives and works here in CA

Well then Mooney,What do you suggest be done?? I've pointed out problems that exist yet all you have done is make comments. i want to know what possible solutions you have for these issues, other than "they don't deserve it"(be it businesses or homeowners or workers) You are very fortunate in your situation that none of these issues seem to affect you. try standing on the other side of the fence and look at both sides. I'm all for legal immigration(know and speak the language, apply for citizenship, come here LEGALLY) I'm all for trading across the borders as long as the american worker does not lose as a result. I'm all for helping those in need who do not abuse the system(we've got enough already, seen the Maury Povich show where the welfare mama needs DNA tests on 27 guys to find the daddy?) Total free market economy only benefits the country with the cheapest labor, some protection is needed.

Maybe the Mexicans will stop exporting their drugs and gangs up here! Ya think???????If Ron Paul would have won,he would have eliminated the Federal ban on marijuana!! I can hear the mexican cartels screaming already!!! It would have been a taxed and regulated product just like liquor and tobacco.(I don't smoke it,but i don't think it is a crime). When Mexico really cleans up it's act--then a cross border trucking program might be a good thing. I can go there, they can come here. Mexico is so protectionist in their laws yet they scream bloody murder if we try to restrict them in the US-i'll say it again, they are very one sided about this program. They want more access to OUR industry, and it's not to benefit the american joe!
