Sorry, but it’s true. Those new wide KW’s and Pete’s are no better than a Freightliner, plastic junk.

I understand they’re mostly pointless but I like symmetry.

Speaking of being close to home, I saw this guy rolling north on 71 just past my house. He was in the hammer lane, a car passed him on the right, cut to close in front of him as he was coming onto a bridge, he jerked and took out a concrete barrier and guardrail at the bridge. It didnt hurt the truck, but they had to wrecker the trailer to a parking lot just a 1/2 mile up the road. The axles are almost completely ripped out from underneath. I felt bad for the ol boy.

@ShooterK2 @Zeviander they had to pump/air the product off before the wrecker could even move it.

 

I do too, it just seems like they could have figured out a way to hook them both up.

 

The T680 is a narrow cab. You're right about the plastic, but all the new stuff is that way. I stepped into a new W9 last year at the dealer, all plastic inside.
