I am contemplating a lease purchase with A company, not sure which one yet. I was hoping to gather as much information from LP guys/girls who have had good and bad experiences with lease purchases and at which companies. I'm not interested in negative comments but am open to constructive criticism for companies who could be doing better. I have all local driving experience to date and have had my CDL for only about 6 years. I have researched the pros and cons of LP and was hoping to gain some valuable information in helping me make an informed decision and the right move. My bills total less than $1,000/month at this point and could run for 4/5 weeks at a time on the road before coming off for home time. Again, any information good or bad is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have always recommended Schneider. And I do so now.
Don't look at it as a lease/ purchase. Look at it more so as a straight up lease.
    Good luck

    surfgod83 Thanks this.

Thanks for that. I haven't looked into them very much on this side of things. Thanks again.

Sure. You might try OTR for a few months first. Good luck and best wishes

What's your business model say about how long you should run? You need a certain level of revenue to support your time off.

Your business model will also tell you which companies to focus on … then and only then is it worth it to spend the time getting opinions about other drivers experience at that company.

Revenue isn't an issue. I am able to sustain any amount of home time that I choose to take, no worries there. My business plan has given me a general idea on what to focus on but it doesn't give me direct insight to what current or former drivers who have been down that road have came up with. Also, are we really spending that much time when we can check this and or comment at our convenience? I appreciate your insight but it seems very short sighted to me.

I feel like I see more sfi trucks on the road than Schneider ones. I'm guessing that's their lease part

I’m not familiar with SFI. Any information or just a sister company for Schneider?
