Its 21° with wind chill its 1°. Seen one fat slob in gym shorts. Guess I shouldn't wear my steel toe flip flops here.

 

I've been hearing those same rumours for four years now (since I got involved with trucking).

It isn't going anywhere so long as corporate America can make a fortune off truckers buying their diesel twice (essentially).

Here's how I know: If they keep building production facilities, increasing the amount of infrastructure for distribution (natural gas place in Belle Plaine, SK I went to a few months ago said they can't keep up with demand for DEF) but the price never seems to go down, only up.

So not only is DEF not a supply/demand based market, they are making even MORE money off it now than they were when it first came in.

Look at the Minot Flying J. Their DEF pumps (conveniently) haven't been working since I started going there in November 2018, but hey, they keep getting shipments of those $20 DEF jugs in a box to make up for it!

DEF price at the pump (even though you can't get it) is $2.87 per gallon. DEF price in the jug? 2.5 gallon jug costs $20 before tax. After ND state sales tax, that's $8.40 a gallon! Almost three times the price!

Did I say DEF was a scam yet?

Since someone mentioned a Cummins in a truck build not long ago, this is a guy local here.

 

Got a new Phone about a month ago, to transfer all the Pictures,Contacts etc the Gal pushed a series of Buttons and set the Phones side by side and it was done after a few minutes

Amazing!!

 

Wish mine would do that.

 

Going to run to them Geek squad guys and see if they can put them pics on my laptop, wife and I tried but kept getting a notification ( something went wrong ) after a few minutes. I despise electronics but at times it’s nice. Double edged sword?
