If they paid you to keep it dry .. They expect it to be dry ... in some cases the product is unusable if rusty but if they unloaded it I’d want to know what they did with it

Did you tarp the load? If not, then you took the risk of a damage claim.

Did the bills get signed off with no notation of the load being wet? Then the invoice needs to be paid.

If it did have any notation, then they still need to pay the transport invoice. Then have the receiver file for a damage claim.

It's 0300 and I has arrived in Medford.

There are over a 1000 trucks cluster F in Corning. Easily. Probably 2000 all together along the highway as well.

And as soon as the sun comes up, all those dildos are gonna hit the highway at the same time:eek:.

It's going to be the hugest manatee of carnage northern California has ever seen.

You've never seen a cluster f like this.

If it's not snow in the winter, it's a fire in the summer or a bad truck accident. Driving is always a crap shoot on the I-5. Two years ago 2 hay trucks caught on fire on the bridge crossing Shasta Lake. Closed both directions for about 10 hours. Last year it was the fires around Pollard Flat. I'm heading south through there this afternoon. Fingers crossed that the snow stays away for today until I get down into Cali.

@Dave_in_AZ Hey have you ever seen the winds in WY so strong that they push you around (while grossing 75k+) while descending Sherman through the gorge headed west into Laramie?

    x1Heavy and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Aw. I loved that gorge, or Dalles. And the Cabbage. AWESOME.

Im the idiot here in this room. Slobbering over a god forsaken patch of Oregon Trail paved over the bones of those who died making these United States that far west. Or Lewis and Clark sitting in a rainy winter waiting to escape the pest infested locals with poor habits and hygiene back in 1807.

To wit, Ive always loved the Williamette Valley in good weather. A little bit of paradise if I ever saw one. At least for a while until too many Calirefugees come north trying to flee a failed state to build a new failed state 20 years from now.

I play TS2019 and a pack of U50's or UP Turbine handles sherman hill nicely with 12000 ton. That's what I get for a wasted life running hills, I get to play a game on home computer pretending to do it all over again.
