Are you getting chain up pay in the North Dakota Oilfield?

I think last year Power Fuels/Nuverra paid like... $25 or something for chaining up.

Where I’m at I don’t think we get chain pay but I’ve only done it once since winter so it’s a wash.

 

I pass on the entire chain up fee to the driver. If they're willing to throw chains it's worth it to show them they're appreciated

I was just about to say..... Don’t most jobs get paid by the hour? Hence your getting paid for it?

Also, chains take 5 minutes on, 3 minutes off - lets be realistic.

 

I got this feeling you've never thrown triple rails when you're already sliding down a hill. And paying by the load keeps drivers from milking the clock

 

I usually throw my triple before the hill, like any responsible driver
