Travel ban ticket in Pa

Why are multiple resources not acceptable for telling people of the ban? I knew about it before i walked out the door. What your saying is i should have ignored the internet, gone up on the big road and read the sign myself.
Be honest here, does that really make any sense at all?

 

Then if not forced notification to those who could be driving should not be done, then it begs the question what is the purpose for the government mandated alert system on the cell phone system?

Because as much a I agree with the posts, communications is lacking from the state. signs website info and all that should have preceded the alert on the phones.

 

I question if that system quietly went away or something.

We have had at least 2 amber alerts and 2 state of emergencies this year. I personally have received zero texts/alerts to my cell phone from the state.

I know i can get them, i got them last year....

LMAO, Booze stateside is like 25% the cost of booze in Canada. You buy your legal limit whenever you can.

 

I’m talking about the enforcement part. If there were no road signs stating the ban then it doesn’t exist (I assume there were but no one has shown evidence otherwise). I finished my post stating how I used the road report maps available to me on the internet. There’s multiple ways to find out the conditions, but they’re not legally enforceable since checking road conditions isn’t required. It’s stupid, but not a law.

 

Think the highways are bad wait til you get on some of the 2 lanes......good job pa fixing everything but the roads with our high taxes

They should be lucky they are only paying $400.00 plus instead of being one of the 40 plus that wrecked.
