I am home in Burnsville tonight.

My TM sent a message to deadhead to the terminal just after I was empty this morning, along with a pplan for when I come off home time Tuesday. I guess he didn't notice the instructions the FM had sent me yesterday.

Pplan from hell, if you ask me. Pick up a live load at 1930 (my PTA is 1000 that day) and deliver 1800 miles away in SoCal the following Monday morning at 0030.
I could detail what is ALL wrong about that, but I won't.
Except that, I only have 400 miles this week so far. I really need a load delivering by Wednesday to have any paycheck at all.

So I pulled over and called. Got a DM instead of him because he was on a call.
He found me a load to MO that will deliver on Wednesday for a bit over 600 miles, and I could still drop my mt at Post like was originally planned by the FM.
    So... Back on track.

No, just too many loads in so short a time.
It all seems like short stuff bouncing back and forth.
Are you the Pinball Wizard of trucking?

I really try to avoid that kind of situation, if at all possible.

Yakima, WA @ the Gear Jammer. This place had definitely gone downhill since the last time I was here.

Had originally intended to stop @ the J in Stanfield, OR. Problem is I really don't like it there AND it was snowing when I past by. So I headed for the new (to me) Loves in Prosser, WA only to remember the Outback steakhouse next door to this place so here I am.

Since I can't drop my paper load til Monday (WHY??,it's a blind drop) I'll head over to the TA in North Bend and sit there til Monday morning. Seattle is actually worse than SoCal when it comes to truck parking.

He must like or he wouldn't do it. I let a planner in the southeast run me ragged for 4 days, on the 5th day I said "ENOUGH" and got a load out of his planning area.

    Moosetek13 and dptrucker Thank this.

At the TA in North Bend, WA. Place was basically full when I got here @ 8:30 this morning and it stays that way all day.

I messaged a planner when I got here asking for something headed east. The reply said "Sorry, no freight". About 2 hours later I did a Mac 30 and was surprised to see a load offering. I took one of the loads only to get a reply "load offering cancelled". I waited an hour and tried again, 1st time no loads, 5 minutes later got the same 2 loads it offered me an hour before. I took the one I wanted and this time it came through.

So Mac 30 isn't completely worthless and ignore the rules. You DO NOT need to wait an hour between requests.
