I know there’s been several threads on this and I think all of them have been locked up.

Buddy of mine was born in Mexico, and someone was shooting him the usual flack about him being an immigrant. The standard comment of "how was the swim across the river".

He said "I didn't swim across the border, I flew"

Refusing to miss the opportunity I piped in and said "Your mother must be a strong woman"

His response was pulling out his butterfly knife and saying "You know I was born with this in my hand, gringo?"

Pfft X1 nothing! The bar has been raised. The story about the Missouri cop is better than X1’s tallest tale.

Had a long day... to say the least.

Made Boeing at 11am. Ran inside... told them I was here with my one box. “Okay we will send a forklift out in a minute.” 25 minutes later my straps are off, tarp is off and rolled, everything is put away.... anddddd there’s a forklift somewhere, right?

1pm we leave Boeing.... two hours for that box. Make yard.

“Stwik can you take that truck and run up to the Pilot and scale it out?”

Uhhhhhhhhhh, alright. Back in a Freightliner 13-speed steering and gearing up to Pilot... 12.5, 33.4, 30.8.... “y’all can put another partial on this don’t worry.”

Alrighty then. Back to the yard we go.

“Stwik... I know it’s 3 in the afternoon but one of our other local drivers ran out of hours so can you go down to Auburn and pick up this multi for us?”

Arlington to Auburn is about 60 miles. It’s a two hour drive in the middle of Seattle traffic.

    “Sure I will!”

Make it down there, hit the two buildings I need to hit, load the Quikdraw... make it back to Arlington for Friday night beer session at 9pm.....

Flexed my local muscles today a bit... y’all got it rough I know :rolleyes:

Gotta load a piece Sunday at 10am (yeah, I know. We will see how that goes...) that’s due in Florida on the 25th? I bargained for some home time afterwards ;)
