Can’t here! Just look up milk money. And rawze. He doesn’t advocate deletes. He’s as slick on the isx as Russ is on an old kitty. They really aren’t bad motors, they are just different and require different things. I bought mine at 484k deleted within 75k. New head and turbo is the only major engine work I’ve had to do. It’s at 799k knock on wood, it’s still strong and burns no oil.

 

It’s all programming. Nothing else

After 1 of the overhauls it didn't make Jackson Tn. Come in on the hook, cam was eat up(another drivers words). Any way I heard straight from shop owners mouth that the head was so warped it put the cam in a bind and ate the bearings up. I hadda call bull stuff ain't no way. 25k and 2 in frames later it's for sale or give away I been told.


I hate to see anyone buy it hoping for the best. .. .........

 

So basically like can be done on the cummins in my pickup. I gotcha.

 

The heads are the weak point. Also the way they flow oil. Unless you shim the oil pump they don’t get enough oil to the top end imo.

 

I'll stay away if I see it. Dads got eye on an international in Abilene with an n14. Going to go look at it when I take the elite truck back to Weatherford.

 

The way the jakes work on the isx if you try to change out from a vg turbo to a normal turbo you loose the third stage. Stage 3 is stage 2, but the turbo closes up like an exhaust brake also

 

I would buy lack of oil, but not warped so bad it had the cam in a bind. I figure these boys over Newport are scratching for anything to not be there shortcoming
