I can still remember my first truck I bought in 87. Growing up around Dayton wheels with bias ply tires on springs was just life, I never noticed a bump then. I sure do now lol. Never thought about getting older back then, seems it just was just last week I could “jump” up in a Cabover lol.

GM got it right with that ls platform to take the place of the old small block. And that 4l80 is a really reliable stock trans.

    Ouch...

I only plan on adding another 30 hp with the tuner I want, and I don’t tow anything. God willing mine won’t crap out prematurely.

Stock 6.7 turbo has a 2.44 inch outlet which causes 2:1 drive pressures. I hit 30psi pretty easily so theres 60psi of back pressure. That stretches head bolts and blows head gaskets. It's super common all over cummins Facebook pages. You can add studs for 400ish before you blow it and you'll be fine. Its alot cheaper that 4k to do it after it blows.
