Travel Bans

What's a travel ban? Are you asking about an official road closure? I don't know of any source other than state highway dept or state highway patrol. Several staytes participate in the 511 system, but many also have their individual state web pages. Check the front pages of the Rand Mcnally's Motor Carrier Road Atlas or google.

 

I thought about creating a universal trucker app that would highlight stuff like this right on the home page as well as key weather related events and other useful trucker modules with quick and easy access to information for relevant regions.

Maybe you could do this but be advised, truckers won’t pay or subscribe for anything.

 

If the OP is talking about prohibited roads this information can be found in a truckers atlas.
