I ended up hooking it up to my semi I already have a Gen Lee in it. Tuned it to the antenna and I'm receiving but it's very scratchy and I'm not putting out anything at all tried different mics as well. Anyone have any problems with a brand new general lee?

Can you send it back to the place you bought it from? Hopefully for a refund or exchange?

Well turned out I had to clip the 4 resistors out to change the frequency over to the cb band. It works now.

The General Lee has to be converted to operate on 11 meter...If SWR is 1.5, but nothing is coming out, double check and make sure your on the right band, assuming the radio has been converted for CB...I think on the General Lee, 11 meter should be on "D" band...check your band knob.

edit: never mind, see you figured it out...didn't see your last post before I posted...

Did you recheck swr. If it was 1.5 on the wrong band antenna may need adjusting on 11 meters.
