I liked it because if you took the first exit into town from the north, you could park at the closed WM and get some pork BBQ sammies from The Cookout. Inexpensive and good. Got lucky one time and was in and out in 35 minutes or less. I've also had to wait for half a day several times.

 

They quit serving beer at that bar in the back of the Petro? BTW, you should have stopped at the StaMart on the corner of US10 and i29. Better food and the adult beverages.

 

Was the sandwich soggy at that point?

Nope. Not really. I was just happy to have some food. It's only a ten minute trip across town. I usually ate it before I went to the plant anyway.
